Scientists confirmed life after death

Do you know, a person who is dead remain conscious up to three minutes after death!

Scientists working on myths of life after death have finally confirmed that life after death is not a myth but a reality.  Experts says even after your heart stops beating your life after death is  as much confirmed as death.

Earlier scientists believed that as soon as 30 sec, after your heart cease to beat, the cells of brain start dying which leads to end of awareness simultaneously.

But, a new research from the University of Southampton has suggested otherwise. According to this research people continue experiencing consciousness and awareness for up to three minutes following death.

British scientists also carried a a massive studies which was carried out on  more than 2,000 people. The results of this study also confirmed that confirmed that congnitive process continues after death. This claim is also backed by convincing evidence of an out-of-body experience for a patient who are declared dead by medics.

Discussing this ground breaking groundbreaking study  the lead researcher Dr Sam Parnia said, “Contrary to perception, death is not a specific moment but a potentially reversible process that occurs after any severe illness or accident causes the heart, lungs and brain to cease functioning.”

“If attempts are made to reverse this process, it is referred to as ‘cardiac arrest’; however, if these attempts do not succeed it is called ‘death”

40 percent out of the 2,060 patients from Austria, United Kingdom and the United States  had survived cardiac arrests, said they were able to remember some form of awareness even after declared clinically dead.

Dr Parnia explained the significance and said, “This suggests more people may have mental activity initially but then lose their memories after recovery, either due to the effects of brain injury or sedative drugs on memory recall.”

Just two per cent of patients described their experience as being consistent with the feeling of an out-of-body experience — the feeling when one feels almost aware of their surroundings after death. And about 50% of these participants who were interviwwed during this study said their experience was not one of awareness, but fear.

One of the most amazing finding of this study  was that of a above 50 man who had a confirmed out of body experience and he was able to recall what was happening around him even though he was declared as dead by doctors.

Dr Parnia said, “This is significant, since it has often been assumed that experiences in relation to death are likely hallucinations or illusions occurring either before the heart stops or after the heart has been successfully restarted, but not an experience corresponding with ‘real’ events when the heart isn’t beating.”

“In this case, consciousness and awareness appeared to occur during a three-minute period when there was no heartbeat.”

“This is paradoxical, since the brain typically ceases functioning within 20-30 seconds of the heart stopping and doesn’t resume again until the heart has been restarted.

“Furthermore, the detailed recollections of visual awareness in this case were consistent with verified events.”

Most of the the readers would find this strange to read. But you can dig more into it by searching it in details whether you believe in concept in life after death or not.
